Days in Berlin

In 2013, we missed an invitation to a book launch event about “Best Custom Motorcycle in the World” published by Gestalten, entitled “The Ride” as it’s premiere edition. But then in 2015, Gestalten released a follow-up edition of it’s predecessor which was later titled “The Ride 2nd Gear”. This time, we didn’t want to miss the opportunity to get acquainted with the people behind the workshop documented in the book.

Maximilian Funk as the editor of the book himself, taking us a short trip into Classic Remise Berlin along with Maxwell Paternoster before we attend to the opening night. Located in the warm corner of Gestalten Space in Berlin, Germany, event hosts, Robert Klanten, and Iris Hempelmann, greeted with the utmost humility. Also attending to the book launch event were El Solitario, Wrenchmonkees, Autofabrica, Young Gun Customs, Workhorse Speed Shop, Lucky Cat Garage, and many more.
