Year after year we have sat on our headquarter talking about the infamous Wheels & Waves Festival. In 2017 finally we got the chance to attend the festivals ourself. Invited by David Borras from El Solitario, we spent our week with the humble yet sophisticated Spaniards families. Situated in Biarritz, a stunning coastal town in southern france, isn’t a hotbed of alternative custom culture, and is a long way from Paris, Berlin, or Milan, where you’ll find the majority of European custom shops. But a surprising number of people ride to the event with everything they have from vintage Brough Superiors and MV Agustas to the latest hyper-café custom Ducati.
The festival, which in it’s sixth edition, is a coming-together of bikers, and the culture related. Since it’s beginning back in 2013, the once ‘Semi Legal’ Road Race has transformed into a symbol of the moto/skate/surf community and continues to grow with events spread across several locations. On this journal we will share you pictures from ‘The Village’ at the Cité de l’Océan, a place where everyone can hanging around with or without a plan to enjoy the vibe, musics, movies, shoppings, meats, and beers. It’s some kind of a meeting point before the groups having a ride into the next location to watch the race. Next post we will talked about the race. Enjoy.
