Grill To Survive

When the global pandemic strikes one year ago, many of our friends has switching their role to start a new business in order to survive the year. One of them named Dandy Harun. We have known him from many years ago, with his previous brand, Esre Denim, was the first local brand to collaborate with us in 2013 to deliver a product aimed at motorcyclists made from 18 oz denim, and we named it, Hammer & Stiches.

In mid-2020, Dandy started serving simple cooked burgers to his friends from his home kitchen with only one menu available and homemade ingredients that could be customized according to the customer preferences. As time passed, the demand for Dandy’s signature burger was increasing. It’s made him think to build a new kitchen in a new place with a new name, Quack Burgeria. When he invited us to taste his new place which turned out to be only hundreds of meters away from our workshop in East Kemang, we were very happy to support him as an old friends welcoming a neighbors.

The place itself is not a fancy corner. With only 8-10 customers max at a time, the Japanese-style open kitchen concept that Quack offers, could make Dandy easily to interact directly with his customers by a simple chats. With various menu available now from strict vegan to seafood addict, Quack is also open to their customers’ menu options where they can bring their own cooking ingredients to be cooked by Dandy at Quack. This makes the bonds between consumers began to raising. And thats where our Burger Motoria collaboration idea came from.

We develop a new menu together using Brioche bun covered by homemade tartar sauce topped with caramelized onion and 100 grams of tiger prawn layered with american cheddar and finished with suny side up egg on top of the layers to become a tasty seafood burger we never tasted before. We also made a mini collection of merchandise consisting of t-shirts and crewnecks followed by some small accessories. Everything is available offline for walk in costumer at Quack Burgeria on April 6, 2021
